Subject line: Speaker Invitation: Merge
Hello [FIRST NAME],
First and foremost, in the face of this crisis, I hope you and your loved ones are safe and well.
My name is [YOUR NAME], and I’m an organizer at Hack+Policy Foundation. We at the Hack+Policy Foundation are passionate about innovation, and it would be amazing if you’d be willing to co-host an Ask-Me-Anything event with us!
Merge is a virtual high school hack+policython on March 27th-28th, 2021, for students to solve our society's most pressing challenges through a combination of computer science and public policy. You can read more about us here.
Prior to the competition, we are planning on hosting a series of events and webinars to empower youth around the world to come up with innovative solutions to pressing global problems. With your help, we hope to provide participants with skills and knowledge to help them succeed in the competition.
We were wondering if you would be able to prepare a live talk (max 30 minutes) and host a 30-minute Q&A period with participants? We understand that you have an incredibly busy schedule, so your time is greatly appreciated. If it is more convenient for you, a pre-recorded video would also be fantastic!
Thank you for your consideration and time, and we hope to be in touch soon!
Best wishes,
[YOUR NAME]
