General

• Scotty is stepping down from his current roles in Erevna; Scotty will continue working on the Research Fellowship and Equisearch. Lucas and Scotty will be working with leadership + advisory board co-chairs to determine the best candidates to plan for a smooth transition. More updates to come — we want to make Erevna a community where people learn and grow, create impact, and hand over the reigns so others can do the same. 💗
• The next Executive Board meeting on the 26th (run by Lucas) will be dedicated to discussing the following:
  • Future leadership and plan for Erevna in 2021
  • The state of existing initiatives + potentially planning for new ones
• Justina, Laurel, and Lucas held our monthly advisory board meeting!
• Marco will be working on the http://projects.iq.harvard.edu/erevna website and funding.
• Justina and Lucas will be prototyping a minimalist erevna.us Notion website — this is better for flexibility in copy & editing since it's no-code and updates instantly.

Initiative specific

• Research Fellowship: Our first fellowship is complete! We're working on getting feedback and are planning to prepare for a summer/fall one.
• CVT: Projects are going strong and social media is up and running again. Lots of people are resting up over break to prepare for next semester. Lucas is thinking of inviting data policy students and partners to match.
• Intercollegiate Discord: En Yu is going to run this initiative. We'll be focusing on maintaining the server, not necessarily growing it.
• ML Fellowship: We will not be running the ML Fellowship in the Spring, but it might be hosted in the Summer. Kevin Wang will be running this.
• Educational Nonprofit Coalition: We'll be running two events as follows. Mohamed Nashnoush is leading this and recruiting members to hold monthly external meetings.
  • Tutorthon: a day where college students tutor high school students for free run by Kelly Ly and CVT organizers
  • Education Policython: hosted in partnership with PFTP
• PFTP: We'll be hosting a civic hackathon run by BJ Moon in partnership with HFTP.
  • Policy Sprint will be run by Priscilla Maryanski
• F(o)und: It's renamed to Alpha Start and is run by Jake Nardini. For those who don't know what it is, it's essentially an incubator for students to continue hackathon projects and turn them into real products & startups!
• CVC: After a solid run, we'll be ending CVC to focus more on our other initiatives!
